Dear Multifamily Stakeholders:

I hope this finds you well.

I wanted to inform you of a new Emergency Broadband Benefit offered by the FCC, which subsidizes in-home Internet access for low-income Americans, up to $50/month, discounts broadband services up to $75/month for households on Tribal lands, and covers the cost of a device, up to $100, if a family contributes between $10 and $50.

The FCC expects families to be able to begin signing up before the end of April 2021. Participating Providers will be listed here: https://www.fcc.gov/emergency-broadband-benefit-providers, and additional program information can be found here: www.fcc.gov/document/fcc-adopts-report-and-order-emergency-broadband-benefit-program-0.
