Expanding Housing Access

Through our partnership with HACLA, our mission extends beyond just managing existing housing and includes expanding the supply of affordable units by providing funding to acquire properties and adding covenants to create deeper affordability.

Affordable Housing Upgrades

LOMOD’s partnership with HACLA enables us to contribute to the long-term health of affordable housing communities by funding projects that extend the life of properties and improve the physical environments where residents live.

Community investments include:

Sports fields and outdoor recreational spaces
Refurbished Learning Labs equipped for digital literacy, homework support, and job search
Building rehabilitation and infrastructure improvements that keep properties safe and habitable
Rehabilitation loan programs for property owners committed to improving their communities

For over a decade, LOMOD has partnered with Build Hope Inc. to expand educational equity, digital access, and economic mobility for public housing residents across Los Angeles to help thousands build brighter futures.

Onsite computer labs across 11 public housing communities give residents of all ages access to technology, job search tools, and essential services.

Over 900 residents have received financial support for college, trade school, and graduate programs through the Pathways to Hope Scholarship Program.
