Protecting Quality Housing
LOMOD believes all residents deserve access to safe, quality affordable housing where they can thrive. As a designated contract administrator for federal affordable housing programs across Southern California, LOMOD oversees nearly 800 rental assistance contracts and administers funding for more than 55,000 affordable rental units across 10 counties. This keeps more than 80,000 seniors, families and people with disabilities housed efficiently, expediently, and effectively.
Safe-guarding Federal Resources
A core responsibility for LOMOD is safeguarding the use of federal housing funds to preserve their long term impact. LOMOD acts as a careful steward of tax payer dollars. We ensure that all federal resources expended are used responsibly and efficiently, and that all property owners are in compliance with program requirements. This oversight protects taxpayer dollars now and helps sustain critical housing subsidies for future generations.

Providing Hands On Support
Through on-site reviews of resident files, real-time response to resident concerns, and regular compliance monitoring, LOMOD ensures all housing standards are upheld and residents are supported. This improves the quality of housing for residents and makes it easier for property owners to participate in federal programs that preserve affordability. By prioritizing responsiveness and accountability, we help ensure owners and residents get the support they need, which protects and preserves critical affordable housing.
