CARES Act Supplemental Payments – Round III

On April 14, 2021 HUD released Notice H 2021-01 – Continued Availability of Funds for COVID-19 Supplemental Payments for Properties Receiving Project-Based Rental Assistance under the Section 8, Section 202, or Section 811 Program.

This notice:

• Provides details on how to request additional funds under the COVID-19 Supplemental Payments (CSP) for expenses incurred from December 1, 2020 through March 31, 2021
• Clarifies eligible expenses associated with hosting COVID-19 vaccination and testing clinics conducted by 3rd-party providers at Multifamily properties
• Discusses allowable re-submission for previously disapproved CSP requests
• Sets parameters for owners who did not submit requests under previous notices to make requests for expenses incurred from March 27 through November 30, 2020. Attached is the COVID-19 Supplemental Payment (CSP) request form: HUD is requiring all forms, including required documentation, be submitted to electronically.
